CitiBin and a Feature in The New York Times

Liz Picarazzi created CitiBin, a durable and well-designed trash enclosure, to solve a common problem plaguing many beautiful New York City buildings: lines of messy and smelly trash cans on their stoops. She hired Press Shop to do a round of media outreach for the new company, which had been getting glowing customer reviews but lacked broad public awareness.  They were getting just 3-4 inquiries a week and had little web traffic. In addition to placements in Dwell and New York City real estate sites, we secured a long feature on CitiBin and Liz on the front-page of the Real Estate section of the Sunday New York Times. Needless to say, the piece got a ton of attention. Web traffic went through the roof, and the company received over 400 requests for information in the first few days alone. Sales increased 50% after the article appeared.
